Sponsored by the Provincial Council of the Performing Arts and the Holguín branch of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS), this year’s edition is dedicated to the 25 anniversary of Teatro Tuyo, the 30 anniversary of Teatro de las Estaciones and the 85th anniversary of the Eddy Suñol Theater.
The event will have the participation of Rumbos Teatro, from Pinar del Río; Teatro Tuyo, from Havana; Teatro El Portazo and Teatro de las Estaciones, both from Matanzas; Teatro sobre el camino (Theater on the road), from Santa Clara; and La caja negra (The Black Box), from Santiago de Cuba.
The program of activities also includes theoretical spaces, conferences and the presentation of books of Ediciones La Luz catalogue.
Yasel Velázquez, organizer of the event, said at press conference that due to the energy situation, the program will be adjusted to the impact schedule, so the public will be informed in a timely manner of any change made in the program.
The festival aims to promote the development of this artistic manifestation of the performing arts among young people. In addition, emerging artists have the opportunity to show their talent and gain recognition.
