Satiricón 2023 Humor Festival begins in Holguín

The Humor Festival Satiricón 2023 began on Tuesday in the city of Holguín with the presentation of guest artists, and will run until next Sunday with an extensive program of activities.
The groups Etcétera , the Caricare duo, La leña del humor, and the comedians Yuri Rojas and Michel Pentón were the stars of the inaugural show, held in the Raúl Camayd hall of the Eddy Suñol Theater Cultural Complex.
Among the topics addressed in this first presentation were scenes from the daily life of Cubans, the celebration of fifteen years and a trip back in time to the Cuba of the seventies.
The next shows will have the presence of other guests such as Kike Quiñones, Miguel Moreno (La Llave), Jorge Bacallao and the Komotú group.
With the aim to promote the Festival among amateur and young artists in the province, the agenda also includes exchanges at the University of Holguín, an exhibition of graphic humor "Satiricón 2023", and the theoretical event, both in the Holguín branch of the Union of Writers and Cuban Artists.
