Holguín launches cultural magazine Shoganai

The recently released magazine Shoganai for the dissemination of the artistic movement in the province of Holguín is one of the most attractive proposals these days on the social networks for the followers of what happens in cultural matters in this eastern city.
Jesús de Luna, editor of Shoganai, said to the local newspaper ¡ahora! that the publication, available on the Instagram profile and the ProArte Telegram channel, will have a monthly frequency, which may vary as the epidemiological situation allows the reunion of the artists with their public and the dissemination of new projects.
He explained that Shoganai, Japanese term whose translation into Spanish is “something that we cannot change”, recognizes the authenticity of art, which must be accepted as it is, in its various forms and expressions, and added that the creative team did not design fixed sections, which will vary with the intention to include the largest number of art expressions, artists and projects developed in the northeastern city.
In this first edition of Shoganai, the reader will be able to enjoy several mini-stories, and will update themselves with the proposals of the oral storytelling group Palabras al Viento and the musical work of the Holguín artists nominated for the Cuerda Viva Festival 2021.
