Mexico Dispatches Additional Humanitarian Aid Ship to Cuba

President Claudia Sheinbaum announced a new shipment of humanitarian aid to Cuba, reaffirming Mexico's long-standing opposition to the U.S. embargo.
She announced this Monday a new dispatch of humanitarian aid to Cuba, while simultaneously reiterating her criticism of U.S. measures directed against the island.
"Mexico will always be fraternal and in solidarity with all the nations of the world, and particularly with Cuba. We believe in the self-determination of peoples," Sheinbaum stated.
During her press conference at the National Palace in Mexico City, she ratified the Mexican position on the matter. "We have never agreed, from the very first moment in 1962 (...) with the blockade of Cuba," she said.
"We are going to continue sending humanitarian aid to a people that needs it," Sheinbaum assured, noting that they are currently "directing other humanitarian supports," given that the island is receiving oil from Russia. (Source : Cubasi)
