The 3.H Hub Honor Holguinero platform was launched to new economic actors in Holguín province to promote trade, exports, and technological investment in eastern Cuba.

Gabriel Hernández Ramírez, a professor at the University of Holguín, said that the platform creates a more secure ecosystem with the vision of integrating businesses and investors from any country interested in the potential of the eastern region.

He noted that the area offers strategic investment opportunities in mining, tourism, industrial and agro-industrial infrastructure, renewable energy, and other sectors.

The initiative supports the energy transition and is open to all non-state projects and local joint ventures that promote port development and investments in strategic ecosystems such as transportation, charging stations, smart agriculture, and other areas.

The professor highlighted the city's strategic location, bordering four provinces, as well as Moa's role as a logistics hub and its proximity to the Antonio Maceo International Airport in Santiago de Cuba, which positions it as a logistics, ecological, and energy epicenter.

Hernández Ramírez emphasized the need to consolidate a financial architecture that supports banking services, the integration of producers, and access to electronic payment tools, with the goal of achieving greater efficiency and transparency in the system's commercial operations.

The project incorporates science, technology, and innovation as essential pillars and aims to expand the knowledge of economic actors regarding opportunities, strengths, and investment avenues, in order to broaden their participation in the region's development projects. (Source: ACN)
