Cuba updates Government Economic and Social Program for 2026

Prime Minister Manuel Marrero has announced that the updated version of the Government’s Economic and Social Program for 2026 is now available on the Soberanía platform and the Presidency of Cuba website.
The document was developed based on an analysis of more than two million people from various sectors of society, the Prime Minister explained via his official account on the social network X.
Marrero added that it is now up to each level to objectively update the actions to be developed, and that the Program should become a working tool, a guiding thread for achieving the necessary economic transformations in the complex scenario facing the country.
Marrero stated on X that in the coming days the public will be informed about the results of the consultation, the main modifications to the content of the Government’s Economic and Social Program for 2026, and the progress of its implementation.
The Government’s 2026 Economic and Social Program defines the planning and implementation for crisis management—the what, how, and when to do it—to revitalize the economy.
