The 61st National Oral Polio Vaccination Campaign began Monday in Holguín, where some 28,796 children from one month old to two years, 11 months and 29 days will be immunized in the two phases planned.

The Office of Regulation and Environmental Safety (ORSA), of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment in the province of Holguín, continues its main activities even with the mobility restrictions implemented to contain COVID-19, with several municipalities in limited autochthonous transmission in the territory.

The conference “Fidel Castro and the Assault on the Moncada Barracks, dismantling historical manipulation”, by Dr. C Alexander Abreu, will open the provincial event “For the balance of the world” , which begins today in the eastern city of Holguín.
