Cuban authorities reported this Thursday the arrest of 17 individuals during the process of dismantling a human trafficking network that operates to incorporate Cuban citizens into war operations in Ukraine.

Holguín shows a better epidemiological scenario; however, this is the province with the highest report of cases confirmed in the country and the one that contributes the highest number of deaths, with a fatality rate above one percent.

Aimed at achieving more quality and effectiveness in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in patients, professionals from the Holguín Ophthalmological Center and the Imaging service of the Lucía Íñiguez surgical clinical hospital began a joint work, both with coverage for this province and other neighboring provinces in eastern Cuba.
