The Swedish-Cuban Solidarity Association announced on Thursday that it is preparing new actions to support Cuba in the fight against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade, after two containers with donations were sent.

Holguín, along with Matanzas, is one of the Cuban provinces with which the Canadian government maintains the closest ties on the island, through its participation in two of the most important economic sectors in the territory: tourism and the production of nickel and cobalt.
