The General José Miró Argenter Graphic Business Unit of Holguín is expanding its production capabilities by using recyclable waste in the industry, implementing a circular economy that previously wasted 80% of these materials.

The year 2025 was highly demanding for the province of Holguín, especially for its healthcare system, which faced very adverse conditions and a shortage of essential resources. Despite material, medicine, and equipment scarcities, the network of institutions worked from primary to tertiary care levels, with medical teams rising to meet the challenges.

The meeting at the Holguín Customs Office was part of the Tenth Operation for Drug Prevention and Enforcement, held at the Frank País García International Airport. This initiative aims to strengthen public safety through education and direct action against drug use and trafficking, reinforcing cooperation among state institutions and society.
