The health intervention with the vaccine candidates Abdala and Soberana 02 in risk population groups will begin in the province of Holguín in the third week of June with people between 60 and 69 years of age, who will receive three doses in an a short vaccination cycle (zero, 14 and 28 days).

"The high transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in Holguín may decrease, from achieving a reduction in the movement of people in the streets and only have the necessary transportation means traveling, so the cooperation of all is essential," said the Dr. Katia María Ochoa, director of Health in the eastern territory.
