The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero, today insisted on restriction measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the eastern province of Guantánamo, a territory with a complex epidemiological situation.

The province of Holguín has been continuously reporting positive cases for COVID-19 in children since January to date, with five children admitted to the Fermín Valdés Domínguez military hospital and 22 to the Octavio de la pediatric hospital, seven of them suspects of the coronavirus and 15 under surveillance.
