In the midst of the epidemiological situation created by COVID-19, the neonatology service of the Vladimir Ilich Lenin University Teaching Hospital in the city of Holguín keeps providing its medical programs for newborns with low birth weight and metabolic and respiratory disorders that make them highly vulnerable to the new coronavirus.

Covid-19 symptoms and fever as a frequent clinical expression were some of the most relevant features found in Cuban patients with this disease, a study conducted in Havana states on Tuesday.
Martín Arovén, member of the Sweden-Cuba Friendship Association and Coordinator of the "A Container for Cuba" initiative, received in Holguín expressions of gratitude for the donations of equipment and other supplies to various sectors of society to alleviate the tense situation in the country as a result of the U.S. blockade against the island.
