President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday condemned accusations by United States officials against Cuba, while Washington keeps the economic, commercial and financial blockade against the Caribbean island.
Decree-Law 35 regulates telecommunications in Cuba, prohibits the dissemination of false news, incitement to violence and instigation to hatred, but does not prevent freedom of expression on the Internet, a specialist emphasized today.

Holguín ended 2025 with significant progress in the use of renewable energy, marking a decisive step toward transforming its energy matrix. The eastern province installed five solar parks as part of the national strategy to reach 109 megawatts (MW) of clean energy and reduce its dependence on diesel for electricity generation.
