The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on Wednesday highlighted the heroism of the two rescuers who died while searching for victims of the collapse of a multi-family building in Old Havana early this morning.

Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero today highlighted the multisectoral cooperation with China, "an expression of the strategic nature of the ties between a large and a small country, both socialist".

The current water availability in the province of Holguín, the problems associated with its supply cycles and the actions carried out to improve the situation were topics discussed on Thursday in meeting of the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister, Inés María Chapman Waugh, with representatives of the Water Resources system of the territory.
