The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel thanked Friday the congratulations of his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolas Maduro, and the former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, on the occasion of the successful vote against the U.S. blockade at the United Nations.

In a post on X, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel lamented the fire that broke in an army facility containing war material in the province of Holguín and offered his sympathies to the families of the 13 persons who disappeared as a result of the explosions that took place in the premises.
