The Cuban Foreign Ministry issued a statement on Thursday flatly rejecting the recent notice by the US State Department, certifying to that nation’s Congress that the Caribbean island does not fully cooperate with Washington’s anti-terrorism efforts.
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla described as a "positive step" the U.S. decision to announce that for the first time since 2017, its Embassy in Havana will resume full processing of immigrant visas in early 2023.

Cuban authorities invited Mexican entrepreneurs to foster and expand economic and trade relations and increase foreign investment in different fields and projects, as well as to increase their participation at Havana’s 38th International Trade Fair next November.
On Tuesday, Miguel Díaz-Canel, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, highlighted the illegitimacy of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade, a policy maintained and intensified by the United States despite the rejection of the international community.
