The Latin American School of Medicine in Cuba (ELAM) and the Medicine major received the international accreditation granted by the Council for International Evaluation and Accreditation (ICAAE), the Ministry of Public Health confirmed on Wednesday.

"The dream of a better Holguín includes a Science and Technology Park, and is on the verge of becoming a reality," said Joel Queipo Ruiz, First Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Party in his opening remarks at the pre-launch event of the Holguín Industrial Scientific and Technological Park (NUCL3UM), which was also attended by Manuel rancisco Hernández Aguilera, Governor of Holguín.
