Her Excellency Mrs. Beate Stirø, Norwegian ambassador to Cuba, on Tuesday paid a visit to the province of Holguín, where she referred to several of the existing projects between her country and the largest of the Antilles, including the environment, culture and energy.

The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade (Mincex) was founded on February 23, 1961, by Law No. 934. This constituted a fundamental link in the country's economic policy, as it allowed the Cuban State to manage and control all exchange operations between nations.
