The Holguin shortstop Yordan Manduley has been hired for the fourth time to play in the Can-Am League (Canadian-American), along with five other Cuban players.

Manduley will play again for the Capitals of Quebec, winner of the title last year when he had his best season. He was selected in the All-Stars of that league due to his excellent performance in defense and batting. In the regular stage he hit 300, with 37 runs batted in and in the playoffs he hit 333 in six games. He has also played in other infield positions.

He continues as the only Holguin player officially hired through the Cuban Baseball Federation to perform abroad. Yordan has also won the Cuban series as reinforcement player, with the teams of Villa Clara and Granma (twice).

He has played in 13 national series with Holguin and has integrated several Cuban teams: Fourth World Classic, Pan American and Central American and Caribbean Games; three Caribbean Series and other important events.
