The Turquino Vegetable Canning Company in Holguín has recovered production lines and expanded its markets by implementing several of the 176 economic and social transformations promoted by the Cuban government.
The lack of fuel, packaging, and supplies, along with the need to secure raw materials, are obstacles imposed on the company by the United States blockade against the island, which the workers are facing with innovation and a strong sense of ownership.
