On May Day, the people of Holguín marched together in full support for the Revolution and in defense of the homeland.
More than 200,000 people gathered in the Plaza de la Revolución Mayor General Calixto García Íñiguez early in the morning, reaffirming the convictions that have guided generations of Cubans, because for all of them, being present wherever the country needs them is and always will be a top priority.
Children, young people, and veterans held up signs, raised flags, and echoed slogans that resonated deep in their hearts. We saw many happy faces at the reunion of the proletariat, friendships forged and, in these circumstances, brought them together again for a common good: defending Cuba.
