In front of the La Periquera Provincial Museum, the people of Holguín paid posthumous tribute to the 32 Cuban combatants who fell during the U.S. attack on the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. With profound sorrow, Cuba mourned its sons, while at the same time trembling with pride in knowing them to be worthy, to never waver or betray history, and to defend just causes, peace, and the sovereignty of the Americas.
