The flowers and fruits are the expression of the fertility and color of spring, although in Cuba there is talk of the effects of two other very marked seasons during year, the wet and the dry.
Spring is characterized by longer days, abundant rains, flowers and fruits, as well as being the perfect time to plant or harvest.
The island is dominated by environmental conditions conducive to flowers throughout the year, which find a favorable climate for their optimal development.
Cuba has a subtropical climate, but even when the long-awaited rains that wet the withered fields take a long time to arrive, flowers begin to bloom and brighten the Cuban landscape with their colors and perfumes.
