Birds are diverse, as well as the color of their plumage. No less colorful are those found in farmyards and poultry farms, valued for their ability to provide protein-rich foods in a very short time.

The Holguín Poultry Company is the second largest in the country. It guarantees the reproduction program of semi-rustic, free-range and quail birds in the province and produces around 426 thousand eggs per day.

The cycle for the production of eggs and poultry meat in Holguín begins with the collection of the egg in the genetic farms, which are taken to the incubation plant and later to the replacement farms. It ends up in the egg production farms, where poultry meat is also obtained.
