The Holguín Botanical Garden (JBH), one of the regions with the greatest flora endemism on the Caribbean island, is promoting several projects to protect native plant species in eastern Cuba.
With the implementation of two new water supply systems powered by solar panels, the eastern province of Holguin has reached 116 of these sites, as part of the energy matrix change programs in the territory.
Holguín is preparing to face the challenges of the upcoming school year starting on September 1, 2025, aiming to ensure quality education despite material limitations and the challenges arising from global and national issues in Cuba.
The provinces of Holguín and Havana will host the Cristal Festival, an authentic event to be held on July 12 and 19, respectively, organized by Cerveceria Bucanero S.A. as a great show for the Cuban public.
