For the first time since the begining on the COVID-19 in Cuba last March, Cuba didnt report any positive cases, despite having made close to 3,000 tests throughout the country.
The timely identification of cases and contacts as part of the protocols of the Health system in the confrontation with Covid-19, are also applied in the province of Holguín as part of hygienic-sanitary measures to contribute to better control of the Aedes aegypti mosquito that during these months expands within the eastern territory.
The municipality of Holguín started this Tuesday the third phase of the randomized population study to detect in real time the presence of the SARSCoV2 virus in groups of apparently healthy people, without reporting any contacts or suspects to Covid-19, reported the local radio station Radio Holguín.
