Salvadoran singer-songwriter Alvaro Torres will perform again in the province of Holguin on July 21, as part of his tour of Cuba to promote his first album made with the Company of Recordings and Musical Editions (EGREM).
The album, the first of the Cuban company with a foreign artist, includes popular songs such as Chiquita mía, Nada se compara contigo, Espacios vacíos, Mi verdadero amor, Yo te seguiré queriendo, and Todo se paga.
Renowned Cuban musicians Omara Portuondo, Eliades Ochoa, Pancho Céspedes, Isaac Delgado, Septeto Santiaguero, Leoni Torres, Buena Fe duo and the Buena Vista Social Club joined the Salvadoran singer in this production. Also the Diminuto and Entrevoces choirs and the string section of the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba.
Accompanied by the young Cuban musician Juan Guillermo (JG), the popular singer will also perform in the provinces of Varadero, Cienfuegos, Granma and Santiago de Cuba as part of the tour, sponsored by the EGREM.
This is the second performance of Alvaro Torres in Holguin, since on July 16, 2015, he offered the first of the two concerts held at the Calixto García General Stadium, as part of his first tour of Cuba, which began in Havana in December 2013.
