Territorial Defense Day in Holguín for greater preparation

As part of the Territorial Defense Day, a tactical exercise was held in Holguín with the aim of training the actions of the troops and other citizens in a situation that gave way to a state of war.
The actions carried out corresponded to the elements that make up the Territorial Defensive Device of the municipality with its defense zones, special formations, regular reserve units and the Territorial Troop Militias, to face the first and second phases of the enemy's unconventional warfare and fight against systematic wear actions.
The effectiveness in carrying out the public notice to the defensive device, the planning of the missions, as well as the execution of the acts of delivery of military reserve transport for use in defense, marked the beginning of the exercise in which the president of the Municipal Defense Council, Osmani Viñals García, highlighted the importance of each person knowing the place and the function that they must guarantee in time of war.
The operations of a company during the transition from peacetime to wartime, the actions of a BPD in food production and military patriotic training activities for students were some of the aspects checked.
The exercises carried out to raise the preparation of the personnel, fundamentally the unarmed component and other citizens who must assume missions in exceptional situations and in disaster events, concluded with an rally of broad popular participation, at the entrance of the Oscar Lucero Community.
