US President Already in Vietnam

US President Donald Trump arrived in Hanoi to participate Wednesday in the summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The American leader arrived shortly before 21:00, local time, at Noi Bai international airport.
He was welcomed by Minister Mai Tien Dung, Head of the Government Office; Vice Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son; Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung; and Vietnamese Ambassador to Washington Ha Kim Ngoc.
The U.S. President was only a few minutes in the air terminal and after receiving honors from a ceremonial platoon, he departed in his limousine to the Marriot hotel, where he will stay, guarded by a strong security convoy.
A meeting with Vietnamese President and Communist Party Secretary General Nguyen Phu Trong at the Presidential Palace is on Wednesday morning.
He will then meet with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Government Office.
According to reports, he will then have lunch with Kim Jong Un and have a one-on-one meeting with him.
Thursday Trump will be entirely dedicated to the U.S.-North Korea summit, with the participation of the respective delegations. Although the meeting format is not public yet, it is believed to be similar to Singapore last June. / PL
