The 33rd edition of the Romerías de Mayo will take place in Holguín from May 2 to 8, 2026, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) and to the cultural thought of Fidel Castro, on the occasion of the centennial of his birth.

Novelist and writer Franz Kafka was honored at the 26th edition of the Celestino Short Story Awards, on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of his unfinished novel The Trial.

The second edition of the Festival de Agrupaciones Vocales “Vocalis” started on Tuesday at the Cultural Complex Cine Marti in the city of Holguín, with the participation of several groups from the eastern territory.

The Celestino Short Story Prize takes place from today until June 13 in the city of Holguín, with a wide program of literary presentations and panels dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Territorial Publishing System (SET).
