Celebrations of the Ibero-American Culture Fiesta begins today in Holguín

The celebrations for the XXX Ibero-American Culture Festival begins today in Holguín with guests from Chile, Colombia and the United States, among other international representatives.
The management of the Casa de Iberoamérica reported through its social networks that the event, readjusted due to the contingency of the National Electroenergy System and the passage of Hurricane Oscar, will be held until October 30, maintaining several of the main spaces of the Ibero-American Fiesta with a diverse program of panels, conferences and cultural sites.
They added that the celebration is presented as a meeting of resistance and defense of the best customs and traditions of the peoples of Ibero-America, with foreign participants who will be included in the proposals of the festival, reaffirming its multicultural character.
As part of the activities, the Meeting of Paper Artists is already taking place at the Cuadernos Papiro Publishing House, with the presence of Fernando Bacallao and the Colombians María Elena Hurtado and Ingrid Cuéllar, among other invited creators.
The agenda also includes the event “Cities and the Sea”, organized by the Holguín branch of the National Union of Architects and Construction Engineers of Cuba, which will take place in the coastal town of Gibara.
The XXX edition of the Ibero-American Festival will be held in 2025 in the city of Holguín to promote the link between Cuba and the countries of the region, convening national and foreign specialists, intellectuals and artists interested in fraternizing through cultural exchange. (Source: ACN)
