The Ediciones La Luz publishing house, belonging to the Hermanos Saíz Association (AHS) in Holguín, continues to position itself as one of the favorites among young writers thanks to its distinguished promotional work.
Luis Yuseff, director of the institution, in statements to ACN commented that they work throughout the year on the campaigns that distinguish the Book Fair and the Celestino Short Story Prize, among others.
We have created several spaces aimed at promoting those who make up our catalog, among them, the "Abrirse las Constelaciones" group, where we present the texts together with their authors, and "Piñata de letras", aimed at those who write for children, he added.
La Luz's commitment to promoting Cuban literature goes beyond territoriality, since its mission is to make new people known. However, it has achieved coherence in its work that encourages authors of all ages to want to publish with them, said Andrés Cabrera, who had his first book "Al son de la calavera" with the publishing house.
The institution not only limits its work to the pages of books, but also knows the importance of adapting texts to other audiobook and audiovisual formats to offer the public new experiences.
Among them is also the series “La claridad avanzada, on the YouTube channel, which narrates the trajectory of the publishing house from its beginnings, Yuseff noted, in addition to containing the stories of many of those who fostered their careers from working with this publisher.
Ediciones La Luz dazzles every year with its text and promotional proposals, becoming the favorite among young people and in real competition among its counterparts in the country. (Source: ACN)
