Holguin Symphony Orchestra Announces Concert Season 2018

After deserving the title of Cultural Event of the Year 2017 for its prolific concert season, the Holguin Symphony Orchestra has announced the concert season 2018 with attractive proposals for the audience.
According to Oreste Saavedra, conductor of the Holguin orchestra, considered one of the best of its kind in Cuba, said that they intend to hold the Concierto de Aranjuez during the coming Romerías de Mayo event.
Also, a presentation along with a young Cuban musician who won the last International Guitar Competition in Havana.
He said that so far this season they have had four foreign musicians as guests, three of them conductors from Spain, Australia and the United States. “We also have a project with the outstanding pianist and jazz composer Ramoncito Valle.”
The Holguin Symphony Orchestra will offer a concert for children on September, along with the singer-songwriter Liuba María Hevia, in addition to other collaborative projects to be held at the Octavio de la Concepción de la Pedraja pediatric hospital in this city.
