Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez and the delegation he leads to the UN General Assembly attended Riverside Church in Harlem, New York, to pay tribute to the African-American leader Malcolm X on the centenary of his birth.
Danilo Sanchez, Cuban ambassador to Bolivia, and Javier Freire, executive manager of the Bolivian Food Company, held a meeting in which both parties advocated expanding cooperation in the agri-food industry for the benefit of both peoples.

In his words, the U.S. policy on Cuba is right and before his Vice President Kamala Harris, he stated that the blockade will be only lifted under the approval of the “gusanera” (NT: group of Cuban exile people opposed to the Cuban Revolution) and Cuba will no longer post a threat to the U.S. national security.
