A total of 1,638 works wewre registered for the 46th edition of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, an event that will begin on December 4.
The conference “Fidel Castro and the Assault on the Moncada Barracks, dismantling historical manipulation”, by Dr. C Alexander Abreu, will open the provincial event “For the balance of the world” , which begins today in the eastern city of Holguín.

Holguín is strengthening the measures included in the protocol of confrontation, prevention and control against COVID-19 in the face of the threat of the Omicron variant, which has spread in more than 110 countries and it is estimated that the exponential increase in cases in the last week in Cuba is related to this disease.
