With the aim to promote the work of specialists from the Territorial Publishing System (SET), the Provincial Book and Literature Center in Holguín convenes the Best Edition Award, which will be announced during the 30th International Book Fair in this eastern province from May 26 to 29.

After concluding the academic year corresponding to the 2018-2023 five-year period, and in accordance with the statutes that govern the operation of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba (ACC), four health professionals from the province of Holguín became new full members or young associates of this institution.

Due to the possible circulation in Cuba of the XFG (Stratus) subvariant of Omicron, which is highly contagious, health authorities recommend strengthening hygiene measures and resuming the use of face masks, especially in public places, transportation, and healthcare centers.
