The 9th Cuban Congress on Psychiatrics opened in Havana on Wednesday with the participation of some 100 experts from the Americas, Europe and Australia, who will analyze the boundaries of that medical branch regarding new technologies.

The Cuban delegation to the Central American and Caribbean Games in Barranquilla, Colombia, this year has already increased to 431 athletes, Cuban sports website Jit reported. The latest athletes to qualify for the regional event come from boxing (8 fighters), taekwondo (16), tennis (4) and thiathlon (6).

This Decree-Law encourages the work of independent creators, “in order to guarantee the quality of their productions and the adequate use of resources that the country uses in the development of that activity”.Artists from the province of Holguin discussed about legislative aspects of Decree-Law 373 of the Independent Audiovisual and Cinematographic Creator that will take effect on September 24, 2019, in meeting presided over by officials of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) and the Cuban Institute of Radio and Television (ICRT).
