French tour-operators described Cuba as a genuine, safe and rich destination for its cultural, natural gifts and the warm hospitality of its people.

The Delta variant of SARS-CoV-2, considered of concern by the World Health Organization, is present throughout Cuba and has replaced the previously predominant Beta variant, a scientific authority said today.

The Book Fair to take place in Holguín from May 26 to 29 after three years without being held, will make available to the public some 390 literary novelties and more than 300,000 copies with the participation of foreign exhibitors from countries such as Mexico, Panama and Peru.
