Convinced that the agenda of the Communist Party of Cuba has to be increasingly closer to the public agenda of the country, the VIII Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the organization, which will meet on the 5th and 6th of Next July, it will dedicate part of its analysis to sustainable food production, one of the greatest concerns of our population.

The change in energy matrix towards renewable energy sources is a priority in Cuba, due to it represents for sustainable development and sovereignty in generation, based on the reduction of the effects of climate change.
