In correspondence with its research tradition, the province of Holguín won two National Awards from the Cuban Academy of Science (ACC) this year, both of high scientific and social impact, which are based on the results of studies implemented in this eastern territory.

Cuba is currently making progress in improving the economy and the integration of its stakeholders, after the Council of Ministers approved provisions related to the socialist state enterprise and other forms of management.
