Biologists and specialists will present a roadmap for the conservation of Cuba's coral reefs throughout the country, based on a comprehensive and standardized assessment of the state of these ecosystems.

The Iberoarte International Craft Fair was opened to the public at the Expo Holguín fairgrounds on October 16. The event, which ran until november 1, featured the participation of nearly one hundred artisans, including guests from Perú and Mexico.

Along with Dario Alvarez, an official from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), they emphasized the strength of the national risk management system, led by Civil Defense, as the central pillar of an effective, timely, and profoundly human response.
