Valle de Mayabe: Restoration and Recreation

Young people from Holguín, along with friends and family, are enjoying the summer season at the Mayabe Valley recreational complex, one of the most popular leisure spots for residents of the provincial capital.
The Mayabe Valley has undergone a restoration process of facilities that attract a large number of visitors.

"It's a renovation project for facilities that weren't in adequate condition, but we worked hard to transform them into attractive spaces for the community. The project is celebrating its first anniversary with positive results," said Osmany Martínez Pérez, a member of the "De Gusto" project, in charge of the renovation works carried out here.
"Many people repeat visits to the Mayabe Valley, as they can enjoy a variety of culinary options, from traditional Cuban cuisine to pizzas and spaghetti," says Eugenio Mustelier Machado, another leader of the initiative.

Entertainment also plays a key role in the summer recreational experience. "At the pool, we organize games every day for children and adults, attracting a diverse audience and making each visit unique and exciting," explains Mustelier Machado.
The commitment to sustainability is evident in the strategic planning for acquiring renewable energy sources in the future. "We will implement a solar panel system in the long term, allowing us to be efficient in our service," comments Eugenio.
As summer progresses, the valley continues to expand its services with the restoration of other facilities such as the "Castillito" restaurant, establishing the complex as a destination for those seeking quality time with loved ones during the summer months.
