Cedai contributes to energy matrix shift in Holguín

The Empresa Automática Integral (Cedai) in Holguín is actively participating in the installation of solar panels as part of the national policy to change the country’s energy matrix, aimed at ensuring electricity service for prioritized sectors in the municipality of Calixto García.
The project includes isolated photovoltaic systems donated from abroad, with a generation capacity of two kilowatts and six-kilowatt batteries, strengthening the operation of vital centers through specialized automation and electrical solutions.
In the first stage, Cedai completed installations in key institutions such as the nursing home, the funeral home, Radio Juvenil, branches of the Electric Company, and the Banco Popular de Ahorro, among other essential sites in the area.
In addition, future plans include installations in remote homes and those powered by generators. This initiative aims to provide independence from the national power grid, using systems that integrate LED lighting, power outlets, and power strips for efficient operation, directly improving residents’ quality of life.
Cedai, part of the Gelect Business Group, stands out for offering automation, electrical, networking, and technical support services.
The company also performs electrical maintenance in hospitals, installs oxygen plants and incinerators, and reaffirms its commitment to technological modernization and sustainable development in the Holguín region. (Source: ACN)
