International Congress Pedagogía 2025 fosters collaboration among institutions

The International Congress on Pedagogia 2025 has been characterized by the historical collaboration between the institutions of general education in order to improve services.
Walter Baluja Garcia, Cuban Minister of Higher Education, said exclusively to the Cuban News Agency, that the alliances between these entities are based on the formation of the teaching staff, science, scientific-methodological work applied to teaching, attention to talented students and many other factors.
Currently, there is a large working group specialized in different topics that work in collaboration, in a tight framework and, for sure, will be reflected in this edition of the International Congress of Pedagogia 2025, he said.
The Minister of Higher Education emphasized the unity of Cuban professors and scientists who work to improve the quality of education in order to build the future of the country.
Baluja Garcia explained that the event will set a precedent for subsequent editions of these meetings, not only of Pedagogy but also of the University meeting, since both are held every two years and alternately.
The 19th International Congress Pedagogia 2025 will last until February 13, at the Havana Convention Center in Havana, with the participation of 32 countries from around the world.
Topics such as the training of competent professionals for the sustainable development of the people, inclusive and equitable education; culture, science and nature to accelerate the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and the digital transformation in the educational system of the Republic of Cuba will be addressed.
