Russia among five nations globally in full Covid-19 vaccination

Russia is among the top five nations globally and ahead of all European countries in terms of complete Covid-19 vaccination, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) assured on Monday.
RDIF chief executive Kirill Dmitriev confirmed that Russia leads Europe due to the number of completed immunizations against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes the disease.
In Russia, 'some 3.5 million people have already received both doses of Sputnik V vaccine,' Dmitriev said, according to RDIF.
'No other European country has fully vaccinated three million people. Britain, which is often cited as an example of rapid vaccination, has administered both doses of the vaccine to less than half the number of people than in Russia,' he stated.
RDIF noted that along with China, the United States, India and Israel, Russia is among the top five nations globally in terms of the number of people who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
