With the arrival this Monday of the Airbus A330-200 of the Canadian airline Air Transat to the Frank País International Airport of Holguín, that company advances its operations of the high season towards this province of the Cuban east.
After one o'clock in the afternoon the aircraft landed on the Holguín terminal with 328 passengers on board, so Transat reaffirmed itself as one of the main Canadian tour operators in the third important tourist destination of Cuba.
Canada consolidates as the main tourists issuer to the northeastern territory, with more than 40 percent, followed by the United Kingdom with 12 percent.
The Frank País international airport receives on average more than 50 flights from different countries each week.
