The well-being of the Holguín people has been a priority for the workers of the health system of this province during 2024, despite the difficult scenario confronted by the country and, specifically, this territory, where Public Health has faced the deficit of essential resources, medicines, equipment and others.

Among Rubén Rodríguez González's qualities is perseverance. He imagines, analyzes, writes, edits, sends again and again, as if his life depended on it. If he sets his mind to it, he can climb a mountain or win a literary prize; luckily, to protect his physical integrity in the fall of a steep slope, he was born with the gift of writing.

The World Health Day will be celebrated on April 7 in the province of Holguín under the motto “Mi Salud, mi derecho” (My Health, my right), a right achieved in Cuba more than 60 decades ago.
