Banes, also known as the archeological capital of Cuba, is immersed in plans to develop national and foreign tourism, including two new camping facilities to be built in as part of the development strategy of the north coast of Holguin.

 

Holguin is one of the Cuban provinces where a greater number of teachers have returned to the classroom after the salary increase last July, one of the actions undertaken by the Cuban government to encourage the national economy and benefit employees of the budgeted sector.

 

The agricultural sector of the province of Holguin will undertake from next September the largest planting program for food items of all time, as part of the work included in the cold campaign that extends from September to February in Cuba.
