Special Education in Cuba marks its 62nd anniversary this January 4, a work of dedication that in the northeastern province of Holguín is developed in 27 educational institutions and different modalities, such as outpatient and hospital care.
After commemorating the 65th anniversary of the passing of the Caravan of Freedom led by Fidel Castro Ruz and the Rebel Army, a representation of the people of the eastern province of Holguin recalled today the historic event that, in 1959, toured the country from Santiago de Cuba to Havana.
The high tourism season in Holguín destination is showing good results, with notable increases in air operations and the entry of visitors, compared to a similar stage last year.
The Holguín Environmental Services and Research Center (Cisat) received recognition from the Environment Agency in Cuba for the results achieved in 2023 in the participation of events, the increase in the center's intellectual property, scientific production and institutional communication.
